DavidsonJohn offers a comprehensive set of structural engineering consultancy services for both domestic and commercial clients. We provide a friendly, client orientated service at all times with a dedicated commitment to delivering high quality advice and service levels.

We maintain close client contact ensuring our clients are always fully briefed regarding important decisions and kept informed of all progress and project developments.

Our key areas of expertise involve full architectural design services, the production of plans, structural calculations. We produce all working drawings including elevations and technical detailing through to the full submission of Planning Applications and securing Building Control approval for proposed construction.

Architectual Services

Our experience ranges from small extensions of domestic properties, garage additions etc through to multi-storey apartment and commercial offices, warehouses and portal frame structures, executive property re-modelling, basement, loft and barn conversions.

Planning & Building Regulation

A key area of specialisation is submitting applications seeking planning and building control consents. We have represented clients at planning appeal, satisfying objections through consultation and close liason with associated specialists such as arborealist consultants in the event of tree preservation issues etc.

Structural Surveys & Building eports

We provide investigations into cracking resulting from subsidence, other aspects of investigation into all forms of building failure from total collapse of building to partial structural failure. We offer consultancy and design services for all forms of remedial works - underpinning and strengthening.

Calculations and Drawings

We provide structural designs and calculations ranging from complex roof support configurations and multi-storey apartment designs through to single beam/ lintel support and pier design for wall removal.
